The room was huge, with a big bed, four pillows, plenty of cupboard space, a TV, a fridge and our own bathroom with two shower heads. The whole place was spotless, air-conditioned and beautifully designed, and the kitchen was fully equipped, almost like a professional one. Coffee, tea, sugar and sometimes snacks like bananas were always available. We could also wash and dry our laundry for free. Roy was a great host from the moment we checked in. He made breakfast every morning, answered our questions, explained how to get around Chiang Mai and shared local tips. You can book special tours with him too. This was the best of the dozens of homestays, Airbnbs and hostels my girlfriend and I have tried. It was brand new and we were among the first guests. I rarely write reviews, but we truly loved our stay and would definitely come back. Nobody asked me to write this. Check it out!
