Bed Chiangmai Gate Hotel

I got sick during my stay, and the front desk pointed me to a nearby pharmacy. They even brought a hot water bottle to my room for my stomach cramps, which I really appreciated. The staff were amazing throughout, introducing themselves and asking about my plans so they could offer tips. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of food and juice that changed each day. My room was nicer than I expected and had a sunny patio. The hotel itself is gorgeous and a great value. It was my favourite place to stay during my three-week trip around Thailand, and Chiang Mai was my favourite city. Thanks for the hospitality!

The central location near the Old Town was a big plus, and we felt at home throughout our stay. Staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful the whole time. Our room was modern, stylish, and spotless. Complimentary water, coffee, and tea were available around the clock, and everything tasted great. We were comfortable in every way and would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Chiang Mai.

We’d happily stay here again. It’s very close to Chiang Mai’s South Gate, and there’s a market within walking distance where we found great street food in the evening. The hotel was clean throughout, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. Staff were very friendly and attentive, checking in proactively to make sure everything was going well.

Breakfast offered buffet items as well as eggs made to order. The room was simple, but clean and as expected, and we could walk to everything in the old city. For us, this was the least expensive hotel we stayed at in Thailand, yet the service was far better than at several five-star places. Even though we arrived well before check-in, they offered complimentary breakfast and water. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and keen to suggest activities and places to visit.
