Hotel YaYee

The room smelled rotten, apparently from mold on the bathroom floor and in the shower, as well as on the room walls. They'd tried to hide it with curtains and a scented candle, but it didn't work. There were ants all over the room too. We had no hot water and had to take ice-cold showers for all four days. The advertised balcony was really just a two-square-meter outdoor spot without any furniture. Definitely not worth the money.

I left my AirPods at the hotel, and they kept them safe for me for a whole month. With the manager's help, they got them back to me. I'm really grateful for that thoughtful service. Everything about the hotel was great! 👍

The rooftop bar had nice views, though the drinks were fairly pricey and only felt worth it during happy hour. I stayed four nights, and the staff were pleasant enough, but the whole place felt flat, as if there wasn't much effort or enthusiasm. Maybe the atmosphere is better in high season. I expected more. Breakfast seemed to be a highlight for other guests, but there wasn't really an option to buy it. They said they could make an exception and open the kitchen one morning, but I found it odd that it was closed just because it was low season. I felt awkward, especially after they laughed at me, and told them not to bother. Honestly, I felt I missed out. For what I paid, the balcony room was disappointing. The balcony was tiny, only somewhere to stand, and not worth the extra cost. The view wasn't good either. The room also had too many items for sale that cluttered the limited space, including two full bottles of wine for one person.

We spent six nights here and loved it. The location was perfect, close enough to walk everywhere but still quiet and a little out of the way. Staff were consistently welcoming and helpful, and our room was exceptionally clean with housekeeping available whenever needed. We ate dinner at the rooftop bar a couple of times. The food was just okay, but the view was spectacular. We'd definitely stay again.
