Lee Red House

After trying quite a few places on the island, this guesthouse is the best by far. It feels cozy and is always very clean, so I was comfortable from the first moment. The host is kind, polite, and helpful, always available and genuinely caring. When questions or problems come up, even unexpected ones, he’s ready to support you. These are individual houses in a guesthouse, not a hotel. They’re thoughtfully laid out and homey, with plenty of snacks and everything arranged beautifully. Every window has a mosquito net, which helps keep the house peaceful and comfortable. In my opinion, this is the island’s best place to stay. I’d absolutely come again and highly recommend it.

Helpful staff and a good breakfast made this a pretty good stay. Our room didn’t have hot water, though it didn’t bother us much.

The separate little houses are cute. I shared a twin room with my team, and it was a good size for one or two people, not as small as I’d expected. There’s a sofa bed too, and it’s easy to walk around the property. The surroundings are pleasant, but there aren’t shops nearby. The accommodation has a drink shop and serves breakfast, but you’ll need to rent a motorbike to go out for food. It isn’t right on the beach, and you have to drive a bit to get to Ao Phrao. This end of the island is quiet because it’s a long way from other areas. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from the pier to the end of the island.

Magnificent place, we loved it! The owners are lovely, and the restaurant is excellent, really top-notch.
