The location works well for getting into the city, and the staff are kind. Monthly rates are affordable, which seems handy for students or DTV visa holders. Breakfast is available for an extra charge per person each day, and there's also a reasonably priced menu for ordering food at the hotel. I enjoyed the food. It suits tourists and students alike.

Casa Maroc Hotel is an affordable pick in Chiang Mai, especially if you're Muslim. Halal breakfast is served, and the eight-story building has an elevator. Chang Klan Mosque is an easy walk away, and there are several nearby places serving local Halal food. Although the hotel is centrally located, the street outside stays quiet, with little traffic noise. A great option for Muslim travelers.

The staff were warm and accommodating, and the English-speaking front desk made check-in and getting help easy. Our room was clean and roomy, and it worked well for our family as Muslim travelers. There are several Halal eateries within a five-minute walk. Breakfast is a Halal buffet; the selection was limited, but the dishes offered were decent and thoughtfully made. The restaurant doesn't serve lunch or dinner buffets. A baby cot wasn't available, but the staff arranged a single bed for our toddler, which worked fine. There was no dental set in the room, a small gap in an otherwise well-equipped space. We found the stay pleasant and affordable, with a simple, clean room in a convenient spot near the Halal district. We appreciated the hospitality.
