The service was as disappointing as the food. When we asked to take half a pizza home, the woman tossed it into a bag so carelessly that it ended up squashed and inedible. We said it didn't look right, and she replied, “What do you want? You paid less than 1,000 baht.” We'd gone to a place that presents itself as an Italian restaurant, but the meal bore little resemblance to Italian food. The pasta was mushy and the sauce tasted bland and industrial. The pizza was dry, like it had been reheated several times. There was no freshness or depth, just disappointment. The whole experience felt disrespectful to customers. There are better places around, so save your time and money.

I first went to Casa more than five years ago, and I've ordered its food through Tuk countless times since. The portions are generous, and the food has always been delicious and good quality. I usually get delivery, though I've also eaten in a few times. The restaurant is small and cozy. Pasta is the reason I keep coming back. The carbonara is my favorite and, to me, the best anywhere in Chiang Mai. There are lots of other pasta dishes too, including some I haven't found elsewhere in the city, and everything I've tried has been great. The pizzas are decent, but the pasta is hard to beat.

I've been back several times for fantastic meals and great chats with the Italian owner. The dishes are fresh, delicious, and homemade. The tiramisu is incredible, so leave room for dessert. The pizza might be the best I've had anywhere, including Italy and Sicily. This is my favorite place to eat in Thailand, hands down.

I can't speak for the hotel, but damn, the Italian food is really good. If you're craving vegetarian Italian dishes, this is the place. I'm Indian and it really hits the spot. Great food.

The service was the worst part. When we asked to take the leftover pizza, it was tossed messily into a paper bag. I pointed out how unappetizing it looked, and the waitress rudely asked what I'd expected when the whole meal cost less than 1,000 baht. I was shocked by her attitude and wouldn't recommend the place. The caprese salad was fine, but the four-cheese pasta was far too heavy and swimming in sauce. The margherita tasted frozen and reheated rather than fresh. A very disappointing visit.
