We got to check in early, which we really appreciated, and the receptionist was kind. The room was simple and clean, with comfortable, clean sheets and curtains in good shape. The walls are thin, and planes overhead make it loud, though plenty of hotels nearby have the same issue. Earplugs made it manageable for a short visit. It's easy to get to Nimman's amenities on foot or by scooter, and the price is solid compared with some other budget hotels.

The host and whole team made us feel genuinely welcome, and their care and advice added a lot to our trip. Chomdoi House Hostel is in a great spot, just a pleasant short walk from the cafes, shops, and nightlife around Nimman. Many of the city's main attractions are also easy to get to. We had a fantastic stay last weekend.

The owner was really helpful and welcoming. One Nimman and Maya are close, just a short walk away, and there's a self-service laundry and 7 Eleven nearby. The place is a little old, but it was still a pleasant stay. I'd give it 4 out of 5.

For the price, this hotel is good value and well placed near CMU, Nimman, and Maya shopping centre. Chiang Mai old town is also walkable, about 5 km or 60 minutes away.
