The rooms are plain but clean, and the prices are hard to beat. It’s a small, cozy place in a great spot, run by one of the most caring and kind owners I’ve come across in a hostel around SE Asia. It felt like a home away from home for me.

The breakfasts gave us a lovely start to the day, with a good variety to choose from. Staff were fantastic, spoke English well, and helped us organize day trips. We had a wonderful stay at the backpack house.
