The location is very good, and the room and price were okay. At night, though, the bars across the street get very loud, and noise carries easily into the rooms.

If you want to sleep, don’t stay here. The AC units are really noisy, there’s a bar across the street, and even a loud cat. Thin curtains let daylight in, the mattress is hard, and the location is poor. Staff didn’t speak English.

For the price, this place is fine. The street is a back-road route to the main road, so it can get a bit noisy. The pool is cold, and the plumbing could use an upgrade. Cozy Cafe across the street is excellent. If you’re looking for pampering and five-star service, with the cost that comes with it, CMBHouse probably isn’t for you.

The location is quite good, within walking distance of landmarks, restaurants, and laundromats. We had the biggest room, which was okay and had plenty of space, but the mattress was so hard that we woke up aching every morning. Street noise was constant, though it was around New Year’s. The street is busy and loud at any time of day. The bathroom had a large shower, but it smelled awful. Water spread across the floor because there was no curtain or door, and I think that may have led to mold. The hot water only ever got lukewarm. The pool was absolutely frigid, since sunlight never reaches the inner courtyard, and there were sometimes birds and feathers in the water. Reception needs work. Staff were sometimes absent even in the middle of the day, and they didn’t understand English, so we didn’t feel understood. The man on the evening shift was helpful, though. He put another Wi-Fi router closer to our room because the usual one was incredibly slow. Fine for a short city-center trip, as long as you don’t expect too much.
