De Naga Hotel Chiang Mai

The hotel is in a fun part of Chiang Mai, with loads of bars, restaurants, and shops nearby. You’d never guess what a beautiful place this is from the alley you walk up to reach it. Inside, the grounds are lovely, the pool sparkles beneath murals, and the staff are exceptionally kind. The spacious room was quiet and thoughtfully laid out, with a very comfortable bed, classy, unusual art on the walls, a great rainfall shower, and a separate bathtub. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

A quaint, clean boutique hotel in a convenient location, with friendly staff who were helpful. The pool is small and gets quite hot during the day. There’s a small restaurant with a good buffet breakfast, and I liked the massage spa. I’d give it 3.7 stars, so not quite four, which rounds to my three-star rating.

The pool isn’t really somewhere to swim, but it’s a nice spot to cool off and relax. Breakfast was pretty good, especially the yogurt and freshly baked pastries. The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. There’s also a gym with modern equipment, though I didn’t see it mentioned on the website.

Tucked into old town Chiang Mai, this is a lovely hotel. The pool is small, which is fine since you should be out exploring the city. Rooms are comfortable, with firmer beds and pretty good layouts. The doors use an actual key, so if you’re into old-fashioned keys, this could be your place. The staff are attentive and happy to help, but they don’t hover over you like at a resort.
