E-Outfitting Boutique Hotel Chiangmai

The place is very old, and the service is poor. There was only a tiny stream from the shower head, rotten leaves all over the glass roof, and a somewhat creepy feel. The room smelled a bit moldy, too. I’d already paid for the stay, but they wouldn’t negotiate an early checkout even though I gave them a heads-up. Be careful choosing this place. It wasn’t a good stay, and I’d never return.

I stayed for three weeks and really enjoyed it. The hotel sits in a beautiful garden with big trees, and my room was spacious, nicely decorated, and had good air-conditioning and wifi. Staff were always attentive to keeping it clean and often checked whether I needed anything. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Although it’s on a motorway, there was no outside noise. Walking to the city center was pleasant, and a grab ride was another option for just a few Baht. Definitely recommended! 😊

The gardens are truly beautiful, with tall trees, and the staff were kind. Their English wasn’t very good, but we managed to understand each other. The little tea and snack area was cute, too. Still, I was disappointed with our stay. The room didn’t look like the photos. Those rooms do exist, but ours felt like an unfinished, low-quality version, and the floor was quite dirty. A bunch of ants went after our french macaroons. Insects getting inside is part of nature, but guests should be warned not to bring sugary food into the room. They gave us spray, and after using it the smell was so strong it lingered for two days, even with the door open for air. There’s also a pool, but it wasn’t working. That was fine by us since the Airbnb listing hadn’t mentioned a pool.

Getting to the city center takes a bit of effort, but it wasn’t an issue for us. Transportation is easy to find, and options like "grab" (Uber-like in Thailand) work well and are very cheap. We really liked the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished, breakfast was quite good, and the pool and social area were very nice.
