Eden Garden Resort

Good for solo travelers or couples. The room was clean, with new furniture, a big firm bed, AC, and a balcony. The toilet was clean too. There’s a pool, and the room has a table and TV, which was nice.

The rooms and staff were great, and it was a cheap, no-fuss place. The main drawback is that nothing is very close. I walked around to see how long it took to get near the action, and it was an hour to anywhere good. Luckily, Grabs cost $5 to go anywhere.

The price was lower than nearby hotels, and the room was good. The bathroom was very spacious compared with other places I've stayed. I only stayed one night, and it was nice. It's close to the Railway station, but you'll need a scooter or another vehicle to get around, otherwise it can be difficult. They took a refundable 400 baht deposit.

The pool was unusable, with bird droppings all around it, and the noise and poor upkeep made it hard to feel that guest comfort mattered. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep on, and the blanket was dirty and stained. Staff service was just as upsetting: front desk workers watched me head toward the wrong building without guiding me, then gave me a demeaning look and yelled when I came back. Their behavior felt disrespectful and unsettling, and the hotel needs serious improvement in training and service. The place was disappointing across the board.
