Bed Addict Hostel

I booked a night upstairs and ended up staying over a week because the hostel was so comfortable and felt like home. The cafe downstairs has a nice atmosphere, with regulars who seem to know one another, and I got a lot of work done there. The staff are lovely, polite, attentive, and always smiling and ready to help. The cafe's decor is minimalist but artsy, and I loved the character it gives the place. The dorms have what you need, including bed curtains, lights, stands, hangers, and hairdryers. Most important to me, the bed frame was steady and firm. Since I live in hostels long term, cleanliness and beds matter a lot, and this is a place I could stay for a while. The facilities were kept very clean throughout the day, and I appreciated having the bed linens changed every few days. It's a cozy cafe and hostel right in central Nimman. I'll definitely return!

The design caught my eye as soon as I walked in, with something that fit every corner. I especially liked the cafe, where they always had music on and a good range of tasty drinks. The receptionist greeted me with a big warm smile and showed me around from the first floor to the top. The bedrooms and toilets were cute and very tidy. Such a unique hostel compared with others, and a great first impression.

My girlfriend and I have been coming to the cafe for over a year, though we haven't stayed in the hostel. Lately the service has been terrible. Today we were working there during the rain and asked to borrow an umbrella so we could go find food, since they don't serve any. They refused and told us to combine our tables because more people might come in. The tables are small, really only suitable for one person each. We'd been allowed to sit separately while drinking coffee and working there before, but suddenly, on a rainy day with no other customers, we had to put all our things together. When we asked why, it felt like they were trying to get us to leave. It baffled me that they'd push out their only paying customers just in case somebody else showed up, when there was plenty of room. It came across as extremely rude, especially since we go there regularly and also visit one of the owner's other businesses. We really like the owner, who's kind, but the staff need customer service training. We won't be back.

It's a nice little hostel with a cafe downstairs. The dorms and bathrooms were clean and pleasant. It's very close to maya mall, and a bit far from the old city, though it's a nice walk or a quick Grab ride away.
