The guides were so kind and took lots of photos for everyone. My family and I had the best experience of my life at Elephant Retirement Park here in Chiang Mai. The elephants were lovely, and you can feed them, give them a mud bath, scrub them in the water, or simply walk alongside them as they roam freely. They’re so gentle that some even hug you with their trunks. Lanna, who was born there, is the funniest, sweetest soul and comes right up to you. Princess, the eldest elephant, is such a sweetheart too. Six months ago they rescued a mother and baby from a circus, and both are so sweet; the mother even waved goodbye to us. I highly recommend visiting. Everyone was kind and caring toward the rescued elephants.

It was heartwarming to see rescued and older elephants cared for the way they deserve. We really enjoyed our visit to this ethical sanctuary and would highly recommend the park to anyone who loves elephants. It’s a very worthy cause, so show your support!

The staff were really friendly, and the food at the end was delicious. We had a wonderful time learning about the elephants in a place where they’re well treated and cared for. I loved the experience and hope we can return soon.

I love this place and the care they give the elephants. They’re very social and used to being around people, which made it a great experience. I’d come back next time and maybe spend more time with our favorite elephant, Lana :)

Choosing an ethical sanctuary was one of my main aims, and this place turned out to be just right. It was such a beautiful experience, and I loved every bit of it. I’d happily recommend it. Love it, love it.
