The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. They answered our questions, took care of concerns, and brought anything missing from the room right away. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the AC worked well. The bathroom was the reason for the low rating. It was dirty, smelled bad, and the toilet was in poor shape and didn't work properly. The shower was gross, with things left by previous guests, and the sample shampoo bottle had already been used. The bathroom window couldn't be closed, which raised privacy concerns. Even the cups in the room were unclean, with a stain left by a previous guest. For the price, it might be manageable, but I'd spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

This is a basic budget hotel, not a boutique one. There's no elevator, and you have to haul your luggage up the stairs yourself. The rooms were okay, but the bathroom and toilets were gross, and toiletries were sparse. The coffee sachets didn't come with cream or sugar. There isn't a kitchen, breakfast, or room service, so we relied on the nearby 7/11. The staff did let us leave our luggage there for a few hours after checkout, which was helpful.

The staff were so kind and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make the stay a good one. I spent a week at G2 Boutique Hotel, where the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. For that level of quality, the price was hard to beat. It felt like a home away from home, and I'd happily recommend G2 Boutique Hotel.

We spent about a week here in June 2025, and I'd likely book it again on a future trip to Chiang Mai. It's a small, quiet hotel with fewer than 10 rooms, so booking ahead seems wise. For an affordable place in the city center, the location worked well, with most of the old city walkable from the hotel. The rooms were very nice, the AC worked well, and the staff were excellent and kind. We also appreciated being able to check out late for 100 Baht per hour.
