For 1000 baht, I had a double room for two nights. It was clean and very affordable, and the family who runs the hostel is friendly. They have two dorm rooms and three double rooms. Downstairs they also sell fresh soy milk, hot or cold, along with other drinks.

The room was spacious, with its own bathroom and a balcony, so the size and setup were good for the price. The place itself felt dirty and very run down, though. There was grime on everything, and the bathroom had no soap or shampoo. I also got itchy as soon as I entered the building, and there were lots of mosquitoes in the room. When we arrived, the woman at reception took a duvet from a pile beside her, put it over her head, led us upstairs, and made the bed in front of us with it. I wouldn’t stay again.

At 100 bath with breakfast and no deposit, the price was good. The owner was super friendly and helpful. It’s near the old city’s south gate, a large market, and the night street food court. I’d recommend it to backpackers.

The only real drawback was the occasional loud engine at night, since it’s near a busy sleep. Otherwise, the beds were comfy, the WiFi was fast, and there was air conditioning. Clean and cheap, and I’d highly recommend it to budget backpackers.

Good budget accommodation. The room was basic but okay, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathrooms were clean. The people were friendly and helpful, too. Street noise was pretty heavy, so we were glad to have earplugs.
