Jaidee Bamboo Huts

Right in the busy old town, these bamboo huts feel calm and tucked away. They’re clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, and the staff are friendly.

The bungalows are lovely and well designed, and the rooms are very nice. Even though the hotel sits in the middle of the city, it’s peaceful once you’re inside. On hot days, relaxing around the property is a welcome break, and it’s easy to walk to just about anything you need. I came for two nights and ended up booking an extra one. Mina made a great first impression with her personality and hospitality. There’s also a relaxed, cool gentleman you might meet. I had a short but really interesting conversation with him, and you can ask him directly who he is. I’d recommend staying here for a good night’s sleep after a long day in the sun.

I’ve stayed at Jaidee Bamboo Huts for years, and it’s become even more welcoming and professional under the new owners. The staff are friendly, attentive, and caring, while the laid-back feel that keeps bringing me back is still there. The Old Town location puts temples, cafés, and the night market nearby. There are charming bamboo bungalows, a cozy restaurant, and motorbikes for rent, with a good mix of comfort, character, and convenience. One of Chiang Mai’s best boutique stays, in my view, for either a short visit or a longer one.

I stayed five days and found the place really relaxing. The bungalows at the back are especially nice, quiet, and comfortable. The owners are welcoming and genuine. It’s on a pedestrian-friendly street, with markets and plenty of food options close by. They also rent motor scooters for 250 baht a day.
