The owners and staff were so welcoming, and the large, comfortable rooms had warm showers with good water pressure. Breakfast was really good, and dessert was an unexpected extra. Their coffee shop roasts its own beans, and the coffee was great. This place has me wanting to return already.

We ended up extending our stay and canceling the second place we’d planned to stay. It was my third visit to CM, and this was the best place I’ve stayed. The family-run hotel felt like a cozy home where we could relax and read, and the rooms were refreshed and cleaned every day. The couple runs the place: he makes THE BEST coffee, she handles the back office, and his mom makes delicious, fresh breakfasts with six options. They helped us with everything, from a motorscooter to hikes and places to go. We really bonded, and this place made our time in CM. Kap kun kaa 🩷 Johnny & Nadieh

The coffee shop next to the hotel is owned by the husband, and his coffee was the best we had in Thailand. He roasts the beans on site with great care, and he’s a joy. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The service, though, was the least friendly of any hotel we stayed at during seven weeks of travel in Asia. There’s also a policy requiring you to remove your shoes on the outdoor stairs and walkways, which left our socks filthy. They never told us sandals were available for guests in the lobby. For a similar price, stay next door for friendlier service and a better breakfast.

The air conditioning was great, and the location was pretty good. I didn’t like having to tell the front desk what specific time I wanted to eat the included breakfast each morning, and taking my shoes off on the way to my room got tiresome. I wouldn’t stay here again.
