The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and housekeeping left ours spotless every day, working quickly too. Hotel Clay is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and it was a great base while we explored Chiang Mai. We didn’t love the bathroom layout, especially the sink and open closet in the adjoining room, and a small hand soap dispenser by the sink would have been handy. We noticed the bicycle offer, possibly free, but didn’t get to try one. They could be a nice way to reach sights farther out.

I felt very safe here, and the staff were exceptional. The room was amazing and really clean, with a very comfortable bed. There’s a 7/11 just a two-minute walk away, and the Sunday night market is about 10-15 minutes on foot. Best hotel experience I’ve had in Thailand. I’d recommend it.

We ended up extending our stay because it felt just right. The Standard Double room was great, and there’s a lovely place to sit downstairs and out by the roadside. The location is a little quieter but still close to everything going on. The front desk team were the nicest, friendliest people, always working hard and so accommodating. Their wonderful attitude made a big impression on us. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The lobby is a comfortable place to relax, with free snacks and drinks, and right beside the hotel there’s a laundry service, a 7-eleven, and a delicious cafe. It’s a perfect spot for exploring chiang mai. We loved the modern boutique feel, and the rooms were super cosy, with AC, tea, and coffee. The listing said there’d be no window, but ours had a small one, which we liked. Everything was very clean and the service was perfect.
