KANGSADARN RESORT WATERFALL

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay at this property. The views are breathtaking, and the place feels like a true paradise. It’s undersold online, since the location is unbeatable and deserves stronger marketing. Renovations are in progress and should add to the property’s charm. The owner has made thoughtful additions and opened new outlets, showing a clear vision for its future. The only drawback was that the lower part of the property, including the pool, is open to the public. It got extremely busy while we were there, apparently with all the Instagram and TikTok hype, and that nearly spoiled the pool experience. This should be managed carefully and clearly separated so hotel guests can keep a sense of luxury and exclusivity without day visitors getting in the way. Still, it’s a beautiful property, and the owner is doing a great job improving the whole valley. The potential is unmatched, and I believe it’ll soon be one of the region’s best mountain and valley resorts. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The waterfall view is amazing, easily the best part. The rooms are clean but look old and tired. The bed is rock hard, and the walls are paper thin, so you’ll want more considerate neighbours than we had. The golf cart service was a plus, and the driver tried to help despite speaking very little English. It was nice that they let us check in early and store our bicycles. The restaurant wasn’t great.

The front desk staff aren’t very comfortable speaking English, so bring a translation app. There’s also construction going on by the waterfall, which makes a quiet visit unlikely right now. The property is still nice, but the Agoda photos are out of date and don’t match what you’ll see. I’d consider staying once the work is finished.

Waking up to that lovely view was a highlight. The rooms could use a more modern look, but the atmosphere is wonderful. It’d be nice if they offered a halal menu for Muslim guests.
