Triple Trees Residence - former Double Tree Residence

The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Bee, who was so kind. The location gets five stars from me, with easy access to both the old town and Nimman. I’d hoped to rent a room for a month, but December was popular and there wasn’t one available, so I stayed by the day instead. I’ll book earlier next time!

A coin-operated laundry is on site, and there’s a 7-Eleven three minutes away on foot. MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center takes about ten minutes to walk to, and Khao Soi Maesai is only three minutes away, a great spot for Northern Thai food. The neighborhood also has plenty of cozy cafes if you like Chiang Mai’s coffee scene. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, and make for a relaxing longer stay. There’s no kitchen, but each room has a microwave for takeaway or a light snack. I’d recommend it to travelers who can do without a kitchen and want comfort, space, and convenience for an extended visit.

The room was large, clean, and quiet, with a spacious toilet and shower, no mold or bad smells, and strong water pressure. The AC worked reliably and quietly. It’s a nice building with parking and a small gym. I’d suggest switching the bulbs from cool white to warm white to make the rooms and hallways feel cozier.

It’s clean, modern, and good value, and aside from the noise I thought the place was really good. Unfortunately, I could hear quite a lot of traffic from the nearby main road, as well as planes since the residence is under their takeoff and landing route. That was a major disturbance for me because I love peace and quiet.
