White Pool Villa

The large saltwater pool and high-quality finish stood out, and the facilities were excellent. It’s a peaceful villa close to the town centre, well suited to a family or a group of friends. The superhost is ready to help with whatever you need.

We had a lovely four days with old friends in this beautiful city. The facilities were clean and pleasant, there was plenty of space, and the surroundings were quiet. Ming was polite and courteous, and we appreciated that. Still, two incidents seriously affected our stay, and the way our private messages were handled left us more disappointed. On July 27, the day we were due to leave, Ming came into the villa with a delivery person at about 9:40 AM and opened the shutter without our permission. Checkout was at 11:00 AM, so we were still within our stay. I was bare-chested and wearing only underwear. Even if the doorbell had rung, guests shouldn't be put in a position where they have to let someone in while they're undressed or uncomfortable. There could have been other guests inside who were also undressed. Whether anyone knocked, or whether we might have agreed, this was a serious breach of privacy and safety. Guests shouldn't have to choose between refusing entry and feeling responsible for making workers wait. This fell below basic service and ethical standards. Then, as we were getting ready to leave punctually at 11:00 AM, the next guests arrived at the door around 10:56-10:57. We were inside with our luggage waiting for a taxi and felt watched and pressured to hurry. Even if they only wanted to leave their bags, they should have come 10-15 minutes after checkout. Staff should have received their luggage at the door rather than letting them see the room before it was ready. It spoiled our last moments and their first impression. Please try to see it from our side. If you were washing up or changing and strangers suddenly came into your room, would you feel comfortable, even if you'd heard a notice and said yes? And if you said no, should you be made to feel guilty for delaying workers? The same goes for new guests waiting outside while you're still arranging transport. We didn't feel at ease. We first tried to raise this privately. In the replies, you kept saying you'd already “done what you could” and put the blame on us for “not hearing the notice.” That didn't show respect for our privacy. We have decided to post formal reviews on Booking.com and Google Maps. We'll mention what deserves praise, but we also need to record these serious privacy and professionalism issues. We did take care of the property. Rusty parts beneath the poolside chair had dripped onto the floor and left yellow stains, which we cleaned ourselves. We also tidied the bathroom floor and around the toilet to make things easier for the cleaners. This trip brought us good memories, but it also exposed serious gaps in service and ethics. We hope you reflect on what happened and make improvements as a professional host.
