The guest house has lots of thoughtful details, and Uncle Kim, the 80-year-old owner, is a friendly, talkative Thai Chinese Teochew man who speaks fluent English, Thai, and Mandarin. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable, and felt like more than I paid for. It’s cheap and highly recommended. The location is perfect, near the night bazaar and with food and drinks easily accessible. I’m sure I’ll be back for my tattoo trip.

There’s a garden and a little fish pond right in the middle of the city, plus a small library and tasteful handicrafts around the place. It’s a nicely decorated family-run hotel with a friendly owner and good security. The rooms are well equipped, with attached bathrooms and hot showers, though the cleanliness could be better since they were a little dusty.

I’ve known this place for years, and it used to be good. It’s in a great spot in the town center near the night bazaar, with a beautiful garden, but the rooms have deteriorated and haven’t been maintained. The beds are too old and the bathrooms very dirty. This hotel has become a ruin, and I don’t recommend it.

It’s quiet, though the atmosphere feels a bit lonely. The owner looks old, and I first thought he might be fierce, but he’s actually kind. It’s close to Anusarn Market, and you can walk around the Night Bazaar and relax. All in all, it’s good.
