Lana Beds and Spaces - Hostel

The receptionist was really friendly during the few days I spent here. My room was clean and comfortable, with four bunk beds and one blanket and towel. The toilet was upstairs on the second floor, big and clean, with a hairdryer and shower supplies. Recommended!

The place was nice and clean, and I liked that there were hardly any people there at the end of December when I stayed. The staff were friendly too. One thing I hadn’t expected was that coworking costs extra, and at the hostel you have to pay for it. It opens at 4:52 pm, while reception is open, I think, from 9 am to 7 pm. The best part of the hostel for me was how clean it was.

There weren’t many guests when I was here, which suited me and made it easier to focus on work. I had a good stay and would recommend the hostel to other travelers. The garden outside was lovely, with lots of plants and a cool, relaxing feel during the day. I liked the privacy curtains on the dorm beds, and the welcoming staff. Even though I stayed in a dorm, I got fresh towels regularly for free. My main suggestion would be a work area guests can use at any time. A few chairs and tables on the floor with the TV would be enough. The workspace and kitchen were closed in the morning and evening, so when I wanted to work on my laptop then, I had to go to a 24-hour cafe.

There are lots of places to relax around the hostel, and it’s in a calm spot, still just a short walk from the city center and old city. The staff are lovely and always helpful. They ask how your travels are going and what you’re up to, which is a nice touch. The room was great, and the bathrooms are extraordinarily cool. There are plenty of facilities, including laundry and drying for a large basket of clothes, plus a fully functioning kitchen.
