Scammers!!! They’re waiting to find the tiniest bit of dirt on bedding or a towel, then charging 1000plus baht each to replace it. They’re towels, what are we supposed to use them for? I’m in rooms 303 and 309 as I write this, and on the way up I saw two other families arguing about bedding fees. These people are scum. I hope they see this before I check out today 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 This is the first time I’ve felt SCAMMED IN THAILAND. The crazy part is, I told them NOT TO CLEAN MY ROOM, went across the street to 711, and when I came back you were in my room?! Why? Who do you think you are, lol. If we’re paying 1000plus a night, each room should have at least one towel, clean or dirty. Buy more towels if you need them, why is that our problem? They even displayed the towel at the front desk as EVIDENCE? Ahahhajaha, taking advantage of tourists is really shady and scummy. They charged me 1300baht, more than another night at the hotel, for a TOWEL? Something people use to clean themselves, lol.

A friendly, accommodating staff make this a cozy, homey little hotel. It’s a bit outside the main city area, which makes it a nice escape from the chaos, but you can still walk to plenty of popular spots. Not far away, yet close enough 😍

The room was clean and modern enough, with good air con, and the price is budget-friendly for work or business. Food options are a 5-10 minute walk away. But it wouldn’t be my choice as a tourist in CM. The hotel sits back from a busy main street, has no elevator, no breakfast, and no English TV channels. Paying by Visa adds a 3% surcharge, and there’s a THB500 deposit for the room keycard. The walls are thin, and room doors bang constantly. It gets especially noisy in the late evening, with neighboring guests banging around and seeming unaware of everyone else’s peace and quiet.

The hotel is on a main street, so I’d get a room at the back if you want quiet. You’ll still hear roosters and a man chanting. The staff were very friendly, and my room was clean and fairly new. The bathroom could use more hooks for towels and a hand towel. There were no washcloths, and nowhere to put personal items. The Old City is too far to walk to. It works fine for a night or two.

The value is fantastic, except there are giant cockroaches in the hotel. And, again, those cockroaches...
