After we finally got a key, we had to find our own room. The gate was locked, nobody welcomed us, and the staff paid little attention to guests. Communication was difficult because nobody spoke English. We arrived with a booking and tried to check in three times. The young woman was making an effort to help, but the other workers ignored us. We waited all afternoon for the key. Four other guests in the lobby never got rooms and ended up getting refunds and finding somewhere else because there were no rooms available. The room itself was what we paid for, but the bed was terrible.

I booked three days ahead, but when I arrived, the staff member said the room was full and told me to ask Agoda for a refund. She didn’t apologize. I contacted the accommodation owner, but her tone showed no remorse. It seemed like this had happened many times before. I was very disappointed. Honestly, I’d give it 0/5.

They had put us in a cafe, in what they called a family room: two double mattresses on the floor. We would have had to use the cafe toilet, and the shower was just a hand shower in a toilet. I moved to a hostel instead, which was definitely better. I had booked and paid for a room through Booking, but when I arrived, the hotel said everything was full and suggested another accommodation at their property. Don’t waste your time or money here.

My stay at The Chiang Mai Walkers was awful. There was trash piled under the bed, and the bathroom was just as filthy. The place felt gloomy, the service was abysmal, and I had no internet during my stay. Avoid it.

The room was dusty and dirty, with hair all over and food crumbs on the bed. It looked like nobody had cleaned after the previous guests. We were unlucky with the room we got, so we booked somewhere else straight away and left.
