Nida Rooms Triple Eight Chang Puak Stadium

The small team at Sireeampan Boutique Resort made us feel cared for, not processed. They arranged outings, booked reservations, handled the logistics smoothly, and seemed to anticipate what we needed. We felt thoroughly spoiled. We’d happily return. The resort is beautifully laid out in traditional Lanna style, with a quiet, elegant atmosphere that encourages you to slow down. It’s a place to relax, read, and unwind, not a party spot, which suited us perfectly. It sits peacefully just outside the city center, so major attractions and restaurants aren’t walkable. That was part of the appeal for us, and the staff made transport and planning easy. We took a chance on a recommendation and were glad we did. It’s a serene, thoughtfully run boutique resort with personal, unhurried service.

We’ve rarely been more disappointed by a hotel. The staff were great and the rooms were nice, but the hotel itself was nowhere near five-star and didn’t justify the £170 per night I paid. Too much has been packed into a tiny space, and the facilities really let it down. The so-called fitness centre is a tiny room with two running machines and a weights machine. Most Thai high streets have better for 50THB. The pool is tiny too, and it’s always very cold because it’s shaded by the large rooms and a wall. Near freezing in November. The hotel is right under the flight path, so it’s very noisy from planes. Breakfast was uncomfortable and awkward to eat. You have to choose from a very standard menu the night before and give the exact time you’ll wake up to eat. The cooked breakfast arrived cold, and it’s served on low lounge chairs around a tiny bar table, not a proper table. We’ve seen this exact menu at other Chiang Mai hotels, and it seems to be delivered by the same company. This is very unusual for good Thai hotels.

A gorgeous little retreat, ideally placed between the mountains and central chiang mai. The staff are unbelievable and always helpful when you need them, especially Aid, Oil, and Neil. I’m very sorry if I’ve got any names wrong. Can’t recommend it enough.

A beautiful property with a really calming, relaxing vibe, and an amazing staff who are extremely accommodating. An outstanding resort, and I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Chiang Mai.
