Nimman Soi9 Hotel

Worst stay ever. Don’t even consider booking a night here. I booked nine nights, but after spending just one night I had to cancel the rest through Agoda. The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear almost everything in the corridor. Past midnight, loud music from the street club mixed with the Indian restaurant’s music turned all the way up. If you want somewhere quiet, this definitely isn’t it. The mattress is hard, and the pillows are much too thin. They don’t have other ones available. Most rooms have no windows, and the staff are only available online through the Line messaging app. No thanks.

At 500 baht a night, this is a basic but functional hotel. There’s no pool, gym, or even fridge, but the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice, the WiFi worked well, and it was quiet at night. Nimman’s attractions are handy, with lots of great food options within a five-minute walk. I’d certainly return if I stayed in Nimman again.

The photos make the rooms look nice, but mine had no window and an unpleasant humid smell inside. The WiFi in that room was very unstable. They offered me a different room with better WiFi, though it smelled even worse.

For the price, the room was nice, clean, and bright, in a hipster area. Tourist shopping and massage places were within walking distance. It was generally quiet but not soundproof: I could hear an airplane and the person next door coughing at midnight. There wasn’t a window in the room either.
