The area is quiet and pleasant for a walk, though a busy street with plenty of traffic is very nearby. For the cost of one night, with “breakfast” included, this is a wonderful hotel: very clean, with a large, comfortable room and a television. I also met the owner's son. Like many Thais, he was friendly and helpful, and he did everything he could for me. I’m very grateful for that, which is why I’m giving four stars.

The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious, and the price is cheap. There seem to be a lot of mosquitoes, so I’d recommend hunting them down before bed. I didn’t on my first night and woke with painful bites all over. The “full breakfast” was only coffee, tea, water, and toast with jam, which was disappointing. You can have as much coffee as you like, though, and for the price I can’t complain too much.
