The restaurant was another letdown. After seeing people praise it, I went down for food. Three people arrived after me and had finished eating before I gave up, 45 minutes later, still waiting for one pancake. The woman taking orders was rude and ignored me several times. I left hungry, then went back to my room. That same woman brought the pancake up anyway and still expected me to take it and pay. It looked lumpy and unappetizing. I haven’t even left yet, and this has been an awful stay. The location is fine, but the hotel is easily the worst I’ve stayed in. The rooms are average with old interiors, springy uncomfortable beds, and poor cleanliness. The bathroom floor was moldy, so you need shoes, and the shower is open in the bathroom. There’s no soundproofing at all, so you hear everything as if the door and windows were open. No privacy, and ants all over the bathroom. There’s a tea and coffee maker, but no hand soap. The red shower gel is so heavily dyed it stains whatever it touches.

The elderly lady and the staff were cheerful, kind, and always helpful. For the location and price, this is a good hotel. Just don’t expect a modern room or a high level of quality.

The location is good and the room is cheap, with cafes, laundry shops and restaurants nearby. The room itself was average, noisy all day and had lots of ants. There were three beds, but one was so soft it was impossible to sleep on. There’s no hairdryer or laundry machine, and only stairs, no lift, so it could be hard for older people or wheelchair users.

The woman who runs the restaurant is the reason I keep coming back. She’s sweet and really tries to make everyone happy. The American breakfast is quite good, and the other food is good too. The rooms are basic but clean, and the price is excellent for this area. It’s hard to find better value nearby for both food and accommodation.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, just came in for food. The lovely lady gave us delicious appetizers for free, and we liked the coconut jelly so much that she sent us off with a bag to take home. It was all amazing. Such warm service and tasty original snacks, a refreshing change :)
