Now Chiangmai

We stayed four nights in a spacious double room with a nice balcony and seating area. It had a fridge, kettle, coffee and hair dryer, and umbrellas were available too. The location was good, just off a busy road and near a 7/11. There’s parking for scooters, but it was limited, and ours seemed to get moved wherever we left it. I’m not sure who moved them. The lift is slow but fine, and only runs from 0800-2200. I’d recommend it for a few days :)

The mountain views are excellent, and the accommodation is low-priced. It’s the best hotel in the city, with a full kitchen downstairs for cooking. We really wanted to stay for a month, but the room costs 21,000 for the month, which feels too high. I don’t really understand why, since hotels usually discount long stays.

I was really satisfied, and this was the best accommodation experience of my trip. The staff were very kind and helped with everything. You can cook there, and they offer free coffee at reception. The room was amazingly huge for such a low price, more like something you’d get in a 4-5 star hotel.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were nice, with comfortable furniture for a good price. It’s quiet at night, tucked away on a small street. There isn’t much to do right in the immediate neighborhood, though.
