PE-LA Thapae Boutique Hotel

The decoration is what stood out most to me. The design has a consistent theme, and the little details make the place feel warm and thoughtful. I had a wonderful stay, and the location was convenient for getting around. Highly recommended.

The terrace, huge bath, and big comfy bed made our room a lovely place to relax after busy days. We were given ice for our G&Ts every evening, and the staff were so helpful. Service was fantastic, with welcome drinks, snacks in the mini bar replaced each day, and excellent coffee. The hotel is opposite the Thapie Gate, making it very convenient for the old city and nearby area. There was no breakfast, but they supplied pastries and croissants with tasty juice, and warmed the croissants. For more, there’s a brilliant single origin coffee place next door with breakfast, coffee, and cakes. A rock gig happened while we were there, which was fab. The hotel supplied earplugs, and we still slept really well. Amazing value, and I’d definitely stay again!

The rooms are compact, but comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. I liked being able to choose when housekeeping came. PE-LA is a lovely new boutique hotel, beautifully designed, and perfectly located for exploring Chiang Mai’s old town. We got a drink on arrival and found a handwritten note in the room. The service was so friendly. There’s no official breakfast, but we were pleasantly surprised with tasty drinks and some food in the morning.

Nice, Ice, Shane, Dao, and especially Pin made our time at this beautiful hotel feel magical with their kindness and genuine care. I had the best stay and would definitely come back.
