Phra Singh Village

The afternoon tea was such a lovely extra, one of my trip highlights, and we had it almost every day. Breakfast was very good too, and the service was warm. The grounds are full of well-kept plants, and I really liked the distinctive traditional wood style. It made the stay memorable. Getting around was easy on foot or by Grab. Our room faced another building, so there was no view and we never used the balcony. The shower setup was odd, more like a bathtub with a handheld shower and just a little glass at the sides, which made showering awkward. We didn’t use the pool, though we saw other guests in it. A super pretty boutique hotel with great service and extras, 9/10.

The bed was spacious and really comfortable during my three-night stay. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both very good, and there was even a free 10-minute massage every day. I’d happily come back.

We enjoyed breakfast outdoors and relaxing by the pool in the beautiful hotel grounds. The staff were exceptionally kind and polite, and we liked the room design. The minibar and water were replenished daily, and complimentary afternoon tea, massages and daily activities were a great bonus. The food was lovely too. We had a couple of dinners at the restaurant and enjoyed them. Phra Singh Temple is less than a five-minute walk away, and the location is ideal for exploring the city on foot. One of our favorite hotels in Thailand. We hope to return for another memorable stay.

The restaurant sits in a lovely little courtyard, and the food is great and reasonably priced. The cocktails are top notch too. The pool has its own quiet, secluded courtyard, though there aren’t many loungers that get full sun. Our room was spotless and well equipped, with complimentary drinks and snacks alongside the paid minibar. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was nicely cooked. We also enjoyed the free daily activities and afternoon tea. It’s a peaceful little haven in the middle of the old town, about a ten-minute walk from the bustle of Chiang Mai. The staff were fantastic from the welcome tea through checkout. We’d return in a heartbeat, and likely will.
