The host arranged friendly drivers to take us wherever we wanted to go, and even put together a birthday surprise for two of our friends. We were fed very well, too. The food was authentic Thai, though they could adjust it to suit our preferences. We had a wonderful stay at this villa and would definitely recommend it for a Chiang Mai visit.

We spent five days here on a group retreat and the people, service, food, and pool all made a great impression. Ping Pool is awesome. If you want somewhere quiet and restful in Chiang Mai, I'd definitely recommend it.

We held our wedding for 26 people at Ping pool villas, and the surroundings were beautiful. I planned everything remotely, and Joy was very helpful, including supporting the wedding planner when needed. The wedding turned out spectacular. The hosts live next door, so they responded quickly and were friendly. Joy also shared a list of nearby restaurants. The hosts can arrange breakfast, lunch, or BBQ at a reasonable price, and ordering through Grab was easy. A local market and convenience store are close, about 15-20 minutes on foot or 10 by bike. Chiang Mai's inner city is around 30 minutes away, and getting there is straightforward. Taxis are available, though they can take a while, so it's better to book ahead. Joy had the contacts we needed and helped us book vans for full days, a few hours, and one-way airport trips.

The Thai hospitality from Joy and the German quality from Jeorg made the week very comfortable. We stayed right after the Ping River flooded much of Chiangmai, but remarkably the property, despite being on the river bank, wasn't affected at all. That says a lot about the foresight of the husband-and-wife team running the place. You'll need transport to and from the old town, but the more authentic Lanna experience makes up for it. Highly recommended.

All our guests who stayed at the villas loved the food and location, and especially how kind the hosts were. I was sad to leave. We booked both villas for an April 2024 wedding with close friends, and from the booking right through the end of the wonderful wedding weekend, Joy and Joerg did everything they could to make it the best wedding ever. They were incredibly helpful and made planning a destination wedding much easier. It was everything we'd dreamed of. I'd recommend booking this villa for a great stay thanks to Joy, Joerg, and everyone around them.
