We loved staying here, especially being able to walk through the Royal Gardens every morning. Hotel guests get free entry and bicycle hire, and there are rooms set up for wheelchair users. The temple nearby is famous and only a short walk away, though the walk is a hard one. Our room was a standard hotel room with coffee-making facilities. The bathroom was good, and the usual firm Thai bed worked well for me. It’s a bit out of town, but there’s a restaurant not far away. Staff were very good. Having your own transport is best, since 711 isn’t close.

The rooms are nice, clean, and well maintained. Rajapruek Park is right next door, with a lovely Pagode and a real gem of an Orchid Garden. There’s no breakfast room, bar, or much to do or socialize around the hotel, and the reception staff don’t speak or understand English. I don’t understand the ratings from internet agencies, like Agoda’s 8.6. A taxi or Grab to Chiang Mai costs 270-330 Baht one way, depending on the time.

I picked this hotel because it was only a few hundred metres from a Funduro MTB meet. It’s new and very nice, with lovely, spacious, comfortable rooms. In high season the rate is 900-1000 BAHT. Breakfast at the Royal Project restaurant across the carpark is good value at 150 BAHT. Recommended.

Simple, clean, nice hotel for a good price, with access to the royal park. You can jog up the hill from here to the big Buddha. It’s very quiet right now. I was the only customer today.

I like the location. It’s quiet and very clean, with Big C, street food, and restaurants nearby. There’s no room service or breakfast, but coffee and toast are available until 10 am.
