S48 Hotel

The staff were lovely and helpful, and there are plenty of shops and places to eat about a 10-minute walk northwest. I wasn't planning to explore the old town every day, so the location worked for me, though it wouldn't be ideal for that. You can hear the neighboring rooms clearly. My room had no direct windows, which gave me privacy but also meant no natural light.

The room had a musty smell, and the bed was so firm it felt like sleeping on the ground. Other than those issues, everything was fine. It's in a very quiet area and the price was fair, so we had a pretty good stay. A few improvements could make it a great place.

A bit of a walk from the old town, but the access routes are good and Grab pickups and drop-offs were easy. There's a convenience shop and a few restaurants nearby. The pool area has limited space. Good hotel.

The staff were kind and tried to help, but our stay had a lot of room issues. The air conditioning leaked, the linen was stained, and the interiors were old. Mattresses were rock hard, hot water took a while, and the showers drained poorly. Our key card didn't work at check-in, so we were moved to another room, then noticed that the double rooms looked much older and more dated than the photos. Grab drivers also often cancelled, so the pickup location may not be ideal.
