The people, parking, and location were all great. It's not fancy, but it has what you need. There was a relaxing patio upstairs and a simple sitting area on the main floor. Breakfast was basic: a hard-boiled egg, sausage link, coffee, toast, margarine, and jelly. It could use more food unless you're on a tight budget or prefer a light breakfast. I'd return, and for longer stays they charge under 300 baht per night.

The owners and staff were the friendliest we've ever met, and the hotel was spotlessly clean with a traditional Thai charm. Breakfast included Thai food, toast, fruit, and other things. It's about 1.3km from the city centre, and Tuk-Tuks go by regularly during the day for around 100baht. We often walked into the city, although the road is very busy.

The location wasn’t ideal for us, about 1.5 km from the Night Market and 3-4 km from the old city. Breakfast was the biggest letdown: it was very basic, with scrambled eggs and two small sausages each day, and we had to heat them ourselves in the microwave. I’d rate it 2/5. The rest of the stay was 4/5. The place has a quiet, cozy character and feels more like a home with a soul than a hotel, with lots of pictures and old furniture. Our room was clean and fairly spacious, with a TV and hair dryer. Some rooms have a fridge. There was an old air conditioner and a ceiling fan, and scooters and bikes were available to rent.

The guesthouse was a good deal, around 16 euros for a double room with breakfast. It’s about 20-30 minutes from the center, and 10-15 minutes from the Iron Bridge and Nawarat Bridge, where the Loy Krathong celebrations take place. The room was only average, but clean and refreshed daily. The guesthouse family were very friendly and helpful.
