Sakorn Residence and Hotel

There are several good restaurants just around the corner, and we felt the hotel was great value for money. We spent 11 nights here and had a very pleasant stay. The room was large, the beds were comfortable, and everything in the bathroom worked well. The hotel was very clean, with a big, pleasant swimming pool and friendly staff throughout. Breakfast came from a menu, with fruit and a piece of cake included. We’d definitely recommend it.

We left after one night. The pictures made the place look better than it was, and the neighbourhood felt dirty. Our room was very large and clean, but the hotel seemed neglected and lacked atmosphere. Only one other room was occupied, which made it feel like a ghost hotel. There was no pool bar, and breakfast was just a very basic plastic menu instead of a buffet. For that price, you can find a lot better.

We got a great night's sleep. The rooms were quiet, the beds were big and super comfortable, and the blackout curtains worked brilliantly. We stayed in a huge, nicely decorated two-room suite that was spotless and well maintained. The pool was clean and a nice size, though a little chilly. Staff were welcoming and especially helpful with the kids, who asked for an extra chopping board to practise their Thai cooking. There’s good parking, and it’s very close to the river and a short walk from the old town. Great hotel, great stay!

We absolutely loved this hotel and will miss the place. It was sparkling clean, and if you wanted, the rooms were cleaned every day. The beds and towels were lovely and white, and both the pool and breakfast were good. Breakfast was filling, and the morning ladies and chef were lovely. They even put together breakfast for us to take when we were heading out for the day. So kind.
