We spent seven nights here, and the hotel's location made it easy to enjoy the old city atmosphere. The night market is about a 10-15 minute walk away. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and our room was cleaned daily. Everything was spotless, and breakfast was tasty and filling. The manager also gave us excellent suggestions for places in and around Chiang Mai, plus recommended a great driver who took us to wonderful spots we probably wouldn't have found ourselves. If you run out of ideas for things to do, she's happy to help with recommendations.

The rooms looked out over the pool and courtyard and were bright, clean, modern and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. SugarCane Chiang Mai is a lovely little boutique hotel in central Chiang Mai, with plenty of restaurants and bars close by. The south moat of the old city is a five minute walk or a two minute scooter ride away. I'd happily recommend it.

The staff were amazing, especially Noi at reception, who was wonderful and very obliging. The hotel is comfortable, well presented, and nicely furnished and decorated. There's everything you need for an enjoyable stay, with markets and shopping centres a short ride away. Staying here was a great choice. We'd definitely return and highly recommend it.

A lovely fresh pool to cool down in, and delicious breakfasts each morning from the excellent chef. This cozy family run hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, about a 15 minute walk from the South Gate of the historic city. The staff are very friendly. We'll be back!

Sugar Cane has a lovely, authentic Chiang Mai feel. The beds and sheets are amazing, and the thick towels were clean. We enjoyed the American breakfast, and the other two options were great too. The mini coffee mart was easy to use, the bathrobes were a nice touch, and the balcony views in the morning came with pleasant animal sounds. You can't go wrong here!
