Sri Ngachang House

We got an orange, rice porridge, orange juice, and water for breakfast, with tea and coffee available to serve ourselves. It was a really disappointing, lacklustre meal, and the effort and value were a 1 out of 5.

We were so glad we chose this place. It's close to the silver temple and markets, and the atmosphere is soothing and relaxing. Breakfast was yummy, and tea and coffee were free anytime. The caretaker and Khun Mewa were amazing hosts whose service made our trip more enjoyable. Highly recommended. Kudos, and all the best!

The interior is nice, but there was no service. We stayed three days and it felt like a ghost house. Nobody was there when we arrived, so we had to call to get a password. Breakfast was included in the price but never served. I messaged the contact listed on the door and got no reply. When I called afterwards, the woman on the other end was arrogant and didn't seem to care. The only non-tourist we saw was a local girl who didn't speak English, probably the cleaner. This felt like an rbnb, not a hotel. Avoid this place.

The rooms weren't cleaned daily, and the owner called me at 10:30 pm to complain that we'd eaten in the room and left the empty boxes there. On top of that, she kept disconnecting our calls. Breakfast was part of our package, but despite reminding the owner, we didn't get it on any of our three days. Nobody was available at check-in, and while we waited for the owner to respond about our room numbers, the housekeeper didn't even turn on the fan. We nearly missed our flight back to Bankok because no one was available until 8:30 am to take the room charges. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Thailand has been amazing, and the people are lovely, apart from this one place.
