The Chic Guest House

We were a group in five rooms from November 13th to 16th, and nobody cleaned any of our rooms during the stay. The trash wasn’t emptied, beds weren’t tidied, towels weren’t changed, and staff never came in. It was unsanitary and deeply disappointing. My friends were just as outraged by the neglect and the lack of basic hospitality. I also left a small stain on a pillowcase. Instead of addressing the overall lack of service, they asked me to pay to have it cleaned. Under normal circumstances I understand that I should have paid, but after such poor service, it felt like adding insult to injury, so I refused. This was a terrible experience. This place doesn’t deserve to call itself a hotel, and I strongly advise others to avoid it. The sanitary conditions were horrible. 1/5, and that’s being generous.

The staff were incredibly helpful and sweet, and went above and beyond with great suggestions for things to visit in town 🙏 I enjoyed the stay so much that I ended up extending it.

The food they serve was one of the things I liked 😋. Such a lovely place, and everyone was friendly and warm.
