The location worked really well for us, with the big Sunday night market nearby and plenty of restaurants and massage places within easy reach. For what we paid, this was fantastic, and this is where I'd stay again in Chiang Mai. Everything was incredibly clean. You even take your shoes off at the door, which says a lot. The laundry was free: leave it outside your door and it comes back folded within a day. So convenient. I’m picky about coffee, especially its color and taste, and theirs was right every morning. I also loved the morning coffee and teas. There was always plenty of bottled water to take out, plus yogurt and bananas, which helped when I had stomach issues. The staff were so polite, attentive, and helpful. They arranged a ride to the airport, checked in about our activities, and supplied towels for water activities. They never asked us to leave a rating. I've noticed lots of highly rated restaurants ask directly, but the staff here didn't, which made these reviews feel real. 10/10.

When we left behind a towel that meant a lot to us, they posted it to our hotel in Bangkok. That says a lot about how considerate and lovely the people here are. They also offer free laundry, which was incredible while living out of a suitcase for three weeks, and even had a scale for weighing our luggage before the airport. They've thought of so many things to make a stay great. The location is great too. Just book, you won't regret it.

The common area was a lovely touch, with coffee, other drinks, and delicious cookies available anytime. Their laundry service was especially thoughtful: they washed our clothes during the day and brought them back in the afternoon, clean and smelling fresh. Villa Thai Orchid was wonderfully clean and well organized, so we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. The staff were kind, attentive, and always willing to help. We loved our stay and highly recommend Villa Thai Orchid if you're after a comfortable place with friendly, attentive care.

The only thing I'd mention is the car parking, though the staff help with it and it stops being a big issue. I've stayed here both times I've visited Chiang Mai, and it feels like home. The rooms are roomy enough and very clean, the location is perfect, and the laundry service is fantastic. Hospitality is 100 over 10.

We booked for our first visit to Chiang Mai after reading the reviews, and the place lived up to them. The staff are very friendly and speak English really well. Our room had everything we needed. It's on a quiet side road, but central to the old town, so the sights are nearby. I'd highly recommend it.
