I felt comfortable the whole time, and would happily come back. It’s a really good hostel for unwinding after a long day or meeting other travelers and making friends. The dorms and common rooms were clean and well organized, and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed too. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good hostel.

The two lovely dogs were a highlight, and made an already great first stay in Chiang Mai even better. The hostel was cozy and quiet, with roomy bathrooms, and the staff were very friendly. They helped with tour bookings and answered my questions, and even prepared breakfast for me to take on tours. The breakfast was delicious. I had an amazing stay and would do it again. I’d recommend it any day.

It’s easy to head out for food tours or evening plans with the friendly, social guests, but the place stays relaxed and respectful. I appreciated that it wasn’t a party hostel. The location puts you close to everything, and coming back at the end of the day still feels comfortable and easy. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and always glad to help. I’d absolutely stay again.

Leena, the host, was warm and caring, and Tar at reception was the sweetest. He helped with my luggage, checked on me, and even helped me play with the dogs. Those two gentle doggies won me over, even though I used to be afraid of dogs, and I looked forward to seeing them every morning. The hostel also has a cozy feel, friendly people, free breakfast, an affordable price, and a perfect location. I booked just one night at first because photos and reviews can be different from the real thing, but after that first night I extended right away. This was my favorite of the three hostels I stayed at in Chiang Mai. The beds have curtains and feel like little private rooms, the mattresses were good, and I slept well each night. Bathrooms were spacious and very clean, with enough showers and toilets that I never had to wait. It felt almost like staying in a private room. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely return.

The good points were the location, decent bathrooms, and staff who were okay. It was also possible to work quietly, and since most people there were older, it wasn’t a party hostel, which I liked. Still, I didn’t find the place comfortable, and I left early without getting a refund. I was a woman sharing a two-bed room with a man. I know I hadn’t booked a female-only dorm, but in such a small room I’d have felt more comfortable with another woman. The online photos looked nice, but this room didn’t look like the other pictures at all, so it felt a bit like catfishing. The beds were very small, there was no window or trash bin, and I wasn’t given the AC remote, so staff had to keep adjusting the temperature. Maybe I’m just not a hostel person anymore, but I’ve stayed in better ones.
