This is my third time staying here, and I’ve been back several times because the rooms are spacious and great. The decor and feel throughout the hotel are really nice, and the pool is lovely for a dip. The staff are kind and friendly, make you feel at home, and offer great suggestions for places to visit around the city.

The staff were the highlight of our stay. They were so welcoming and always went out of their way to help whenever we needed it. Our modern, clean room was quiet at night, and the pool was a great place to spend a low-energy day. The hotel is lovely, on a quiet road just minutes from the old city, temples, and local markets. I’ll definitely stay here again when I get the chance. Thanks for looking after us!

I really enjoyed my two weeks here. The staff and management are what make the place, and I spent hours just sitting and talking with them. The pool is beautiful and well kept. Rooms are simple but have what you need, and the location is good and quiet in the evening. Thanks for making the stay so enjoyable.

When I stayed three months ago, it felt like a hotel with a hostel attached. Now it feels more like a hostel pretending to be a hotel. The rooms are basic, and there’s poor soundproofing between them. A cafe and karaoke bar next door add to the noise. The pool is very dirty around the waterline and needs a good clean. My room was the same one as before, and it still had a smelly drain. If you’re after a hostel, this could make for a fantastic stay. For a relaxed hotel, it’s not a great choice, especially since there are much better options in the area for similar money. Keep in mind that it’s very much a hostel when booking.

I’d rate this about 3.5/5. The room was beautiful and clean, with the most comfortable mattress and pillows, and there’s a big pool. A few cute cafes, restaurants, and hip vintage shops are nearby, and a friendly dog usually hangs out in the lounge. The property mixes hostel and hotel buildings, with the pool and lounge shared by guests. It’s good value if you’re staying in the hostel. For 1100 baht, though, I’d choose somewhere else if I were booking a hotel room and wanted more privacy or quiet. It had hostel vibes, as the previous reviewer said. During our stay, it seemed to be mostly Europeans. Different groups stayed up late talking around the pool or in front of their rooms, and there was a constant cigarette smell. On the balcony there was a marijuana smell, which came into our room through a small gap under the balcony door. There were also tiny ants on the floor. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent. Of the 15+ hotels I’ve stayed in, this was the worst: you could hear every door and window opening and closing, plus people laughing, coughing, and pretty much everything else. I woke up several times. The huge key was another major annoyance. It was difficult to use, and I constantly heard people fumbling with it to lock and unlock their doors. The process was complicated and loud. The young women working day and night shifts were really good, while the middle-aged morning staff were okay. Communication with the morning staff about cleaning seemed to break down. On my second day, I told both the cleaners and front desk not to enter my room, but they went in as soon as I left for lunch. The shower didn’t get hot even on the maximum setting, and the showerhead needs replacing because it doesn’t spray properly. The location was one of my least favorite among the 15+ Chiang Mai hotels I’ve stayed in. It felt out of the way, with limited nearby options for restaurants, cafes, and massages. It also gets really dark, with inadequate lighting, and we had to use our phone lights.
