ZZ House

The host was very friendly, easy to reach, checked in on us, and shared recommendations for places to visit and events in the area. The location is good too: the city center is about a 20-minute walk away, and the price is very cheap for that spot. Still, we wouldn't stay here again because the room was dirty. It looked okay at first, but up close it was dusty and unclean. Ants in the shower got into the room and crawled on us. The mattress was extremely hard, and the blanket was much too small for two people. The rooms have no real soundproofing, since the “windows” are just mosquito screens. We could clearly hear the school next door and people talking in nearby rooms, so the night was pretty sleepless. If you don't mind an unclean place, I'd highly recommend it.

The desk had insect damage, and the duvet had holes in it. We also found a used razor and ants crawling across the floor and onto our bags. We were meant to stay five nights, but left after the first.

I couldn't make it to the apartment after booking. They switched my reservation to a lower-standard place because they said there were problems with the electricity.

The outdoor tables, which were the hostel's only place to hang out, were never clean during the eight nights I stayed. There's a primary school right across the street, so the day starts around 7 a.m. The location is good, but there's plenty of room for improvement, especially with cleaning. It felt like a random place.
