Apinsaya House

I stayed at Apinsaya house while visiting the White Temple. The host was wonderful and clearly cares about giving guests a good stay. I’d highly recommend this place in Chang Rai.

It’s a lovely house with everything we needed, and plenty extra. The morning market and a temple are close by. If you’re in the area, it’s well worth the price.

I stayed here before, and in 12/2566 I spent 29 days. For the price, the clean, spacious room came with everything I could want: daily bed making, TV, hair dryer, fridge with a small freezer, kettle, table and chairs, closet with hangers, air conditioning, double bed, towels, shampoo, body wash, soap, toilet paper, and tissues. There’s a basic shared kitchen downstairs and a spacious shared floor with a TV and sofa. Laundry goes in a bag in the hallway and comes back washed two days later. Breakfast was hot and tasty, and they could adjust the Western or Thai food, including the spiciness. As a Japanese traveler, I think it’s great value and recommend it. I’m back for six nights in 1/2569, this time on the left side. The only difference I’ve noticed between the two sides is whether there’s a closet and washing machine.

The setup feels homey, with a living room and kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms plus a bathroom upstairs. Since the accommodation is made up of two separate houses, there’s a sense of privacy. The morning market is about 700 meters away, an easy 2-minute ride by motorbike or roughly a 14-minute walk.
