We liked the quiet here, even though it's only a short walk from the busiest area. Breakfast was very good, and Toddy was a fantastic host with all the information we needed. I'd happily recommend staying here.

The owner is a real highlight: he's kind, loves motorbikes, and has lots of useful tips on northern trips and roads to explore. The room was also spacious, clean, well located, and had a comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

Even with just one night at Baan Jaru, Toddy took time to tailor his sightseeing advice to the time we had, marking and writing on a city map upside down, which impressed me. He also thoughtfully helped arrange a lovely flower bucket surprise for my wife on our honeymoon. That personal care really came through. Our room was roomy and cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the night market is about a five-minute walk away. Breakfast was simple but really good. Definitely worth staying at Baan Jaru, and I'd strongly recommend it.

A calm area very close to the centre, with simple, clean rooms and good air conditioning. Breakfast was included, generous, and tasty. Reception was helpful with a local map and information, and printing an email was no trouble. Highly recommended at a very fair price.

My comments may be a bit dated since places and their surroundings change, but it's still convenient, just a short walk from the Clock Tower and other spots. The rooms are perfectly acceptable and breakfast is good. Most of all, Mine Host knows the area, communicates well, and understands what tourists may be interested in.
