That huge dinosaur statue is the standout here 😄 I stayed four nights and found the room spacious and clean, with a big window and a bathroom with a bidet. The water heater sometimes got too hot, but it was okay. They also provide free breakfast snacks. Really worth the money.

The resort is in a calm, quiet spot, with nicely decorated surroundings and spacious rooms. I was surprised by the swimming pool, and the balcony opened onto an outstanding view. They also provide free coffee, Milo, and cookies, and the staff were awesome. It was the best price I found in Chiang Rai. An extraordinary stay, 100 out of 100 and seven stars.

We'd had mixed experiences booking OYO hotels before, so we were a bit wary, but this stay went smoothly. The location is very quiet and there's a street with shops and several places to eat about 100m away, which meant we didn't need to drive into Chiang Rai for food. The hotel is quite far from the city centre. The property feels dated, though it looked like it had recently been repainted, and the rooms show their age. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a small dining area on an enclosed balcony with a sink, but no microwave. There was no kettle either, though hot water was available downstairs, and free coffee was provided until 10am. The Wi-Fi was rather slow, and it was annoying that the small fridge switched off when we took the keycard out of its slot.

Never again, Oyo. I travel a lot, and this was my worst experience. After checking in, I found Chinese guests with their doors open, shouting back and forth in the hallway. The staff did nothing and just laughed, so after three hours I checked out and moved to another hotel. Then came the refund hassle: eight emails and 18 phone calls over more than two months before Oyo finally sent my money back. That's a no-go. Oyo is a circus hotel, with unqualified people who might be good at selling bananas at the market but aren't qualified to work in a hotel. 👎👎
