I’m from Indonesia and stayed at this new hostel. The location worked well, with a lot of food options in the next building and a seven eleven right across the road. The bed was good, with its own curtain, and there was plenty of space to work on a laptop. The owner was really nice and friendly, and reception was always there and helpful.

Everyone was welcoming and ready to answer questions or help whenever needed, from the manager to the staff. I stayed two nights at this fantastic hostel. It’s clean, well-organized, and has a really friendly feel. I’d definitely recommend it.

Cocoon Hostel was a great base for our group of 19. The beds are modern, a bit like sleeping berths on a night train, and it’s good value. The showers and kitchen are simple but had what we needed, and there’s even a PlayStation. It’s about 15 minutes from the center and close to shops. The owners were lovely and went out of their way to help, arranging a tour of several well-known places, sharing great advice, and sorting a taxi for us at the end. Their son was a wonderful little guide, and we learned a lot about Thai culture from him. A safe place, good for families, working, French speakers, and youth groups. ;)
