Good value, with food and shops within walking distance. The room was clean and the staff friendly. I’d recommend it if you’re in chiang rai.

For one night I paid 700 THB. The balcony was covered in bird shit, and the doors wouldn’t close. The bathroom was dirty, especially the toilet. Avoid this place if you can.

The shower was very hot and the bed was comfy. I liked being able to park my motorbike outside where I could see it. It’s no frills, but clean and nice, with rooms in good condition for the price. Not too far from the city, and it suited me as a stop between Singha Park and town. Public transport seemed hard to get if you’ve been out drinking at night.

Sunday night market is nearby, and there are a few cafes within walking distance. It’s not central, but with a motobike everything is close enough. The room is large, with a good bed, clean bathroom, AC, TV, and WiFi. Nothing special, but for the price it’s excellent value, much better than what you can get in the tourist zone.
